ABOUT US

We are a couple with a deep Soul connection.

We are committed to conscious relating with each other and the world.
We can feel some big changes coming, and want to be part of a better future for our planet.

We work individually and as a couple, and care deeply about our healing work.

We studied shiatsu, pre and post-graduate, at the renowned Bristol School of Shiatsu, where we also assisted with the courses.

AURORE TEUIRA

“Aurore’s deep compassion and love is felt through her hands and presence”

I grew up in the countryside in les Deux-Sèvres, France, born of a local French mum and a Tahitian dad. I have always been fascinated by different cultures, and my dual heritage called me abroad, I suppose in search of my roots and path. At the age of 23, I moved to a no less exotic island... England!

I spent 17 years in the vibrant, multi-cultural city of Bristol which holds a special place in my heart. There I studied the healing arts of holistic massage, shiatsu and yoga. These modalities deepened my lifelong fascination for the relationship between body and mind, the wisdom of our bodies and the power of our emotions. In my experience, these act as a compass to constantly create, align us with and recalibrate our life purpose.

I am deeply informed by Women in Power (WiP, UK), a program of initiation for women. I cherish this community which is feeding me and my work since my own initiation in 2011. Since then I have staffed there several times.

I have a deep love for nature, the sea and the countryside. I feel most connected with myself, and the Divine whenever I dance, be it to groovy reggae or African beats, a drum and bass line or some good rock’n’roll! I am inspired by ancient cultures, tribal wisdom, sacred ceremonies, magic, pagan tradition, shamanism, festivals and yoga.

I love lying on the grass on a sunny day, hearing the wind in the leaves and now the songs of the crickets in beautiful Creuse, France.

I work from my heart. I have deep presence and sensitivity. My touch is gentle yet powerful. I love creating and holding sacred space to welcome all that you are, if you feel called to work with me.

MARK MADDRELL

"I highly recommend Mark, especially to anyone looking for a deeper connection to their purpose"

Among other things, I am a healer, a musician and a gardener, and it has been my dream for many years to bring these things together into one space. And that is how the seeds were sown for en temps voulu. I want to recreate what I perceive as the best bits of Glastonbury Festival, on our land. To discover a new way of living - sustainably and in community - that could become a blueprint for the new paradigm.

I have been in love with France since my 11th birthday when my dad gave me the day off school and took me on a day trip. Despite the tiny hovercraft (on its last outing) with vomit running up and down the aisles as we pitched about the choppy Channel, and a dead dog floating in Le Canal de Calais, I could feel the magic of the place. I think the fact that I was born in Zambia, meant that I was always looking for home outside of England. After travelling far and wide in Europe, I knew that France was the closest thing to home that I had found. I found the land for the project in 2012, and we moved here in 2019. We have been developing the idea and the places since then, and would welcome help with it - physical or financial.

In 2015 I realised a major dream of mine, when I went to Woodstock and recorded my debut album, In The Saints’ Wood, with Simon and James Felice, Gail Ann Dorsey and Larry Campbell.

I love the natural world and feel a deep connection with plants, shamanism and magic.
